Biography

Bob Ragusa is a seasoned life sciences executive with more than two decades of leadership across genomics, diagnostics, and biotech. Most recently, he served as CEO of GRAIL, the pioneering multi-cancer early detection company. Prior to GRAIL, Bob spent nearly eight years as chief operating officer at Illumina. His earlier career includes executive operations roles at Accuray, Bloom Energy, Affymetrix, and Applied Biosystems, reflecting deep expertise in global operations and engineering. He also serves as a Board Member at Twist Bioscience. Bob holds a BS and MS in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and Carnegie Mellon University, respectively, as well as an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Connecticut.
